Is The Kaplan Pcat Prep A Good Idea?

By admin

Hey Guys for an above average student, 3.5 Gpa, at UT austin, who has good study habits and is intrinsically motivated, will the Kaplan prep course be a good investment? This will be my first time taking the test and I want to ace it, with scores at least in the 80th percntile :) Any advice? Good and bad experiences are both welcome.

I haven’t taken a Kaplan course but I am just starting to study for the PCAT using the Kaplan PCAT study book. The book seems like it should pretty much cover anything that would be covered in a classroom setting. If you have ever taken an independent study course, your success in that course would be an indicator of whether or not you need the classroom experience. Remember that relearning the material (which is based on things you should have already learned from your prereqs) should be a lot easier than seeing it for the first time too! Good luck!
